TGIF

It's been another long work week. Not that I'm complaining mind you! I'm incredibly happy to have a job in this economy. I'm actually blogging while I'm watching Joe of Avenue Beads on his webcast and chat with the great group of lampwork artists. I really need to get back to the torch myself one of these days.

As I sit here typing I'm being watched by my corn snake. He's been trying to get my attention by climbing the glass and 'waving' at me. Now he's just staring or giving me the stink eye because I won't take him out - LOL. What a silly snake! Tonight was feeding night which is always cause for excitement. Snakes are easy animals to keep for the most part. Mine are all of the size that they don't need to eat more than once a week. Or in the case of my biggest snake, once every two weeks. So long as you can maintain the same environment they're used to in the wild they're much simpler than other critters. They don't make me sneeze either! That's a big plus because I've developed some pretty bad allergies over the years.

Speaking of years, I just had another birthday - December 31st. Happy birthday to me! We won't talk about the actual age of course. Suffice it to say I've been around awhile...
